Choir for Kids! That’s right - we are reforming our children’s choir again this year since we missed their dulcet tones taking part in worship regularly last year. We are meeting on Sunday evenings from 5:00 - 5:30 in the Children and Youth Building next to the church! We will start on Sunday evening, September 19 at 5:00! Parents, I would like to encourage you to have your children participate. South Church has had a wonderful music tradition over the years, but it is essential that we continue the tradition by teaching our children about the incredible musical heritage we have as Christians in a world in a world that seems increasingly at odds with the central message of God’s love. Music helps to set this message within our hearts and minds! I have enclosed with this letter a Choir for Kids! registration sheet, and a singing schedule for the new year. Tentative Children’s Singing in Worship Schedule 2010 - 2011
These are the dates when we would like your child to participate by singing in "Choir For Kids" in our worship service. We will meet at 9:00 am to warm up and wake up our voices on these Sundays. Please try to work out your family schedules to allow for your child to sing in church on these dates!
